The highly anticipated Star Wars live-action series, The Acolyte, has unveiled its impressive cast and crew. Created by Leslye Headland, the series boasts a stellar ensemble of actors, directors, and writers.
The Stars of The Acolyte
Leading the cast is Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give) in the mysterious titular role. She is joined by Academy Award nominee Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game) and Golden Globe nominee Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials).
Additional cast members include Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Ben Radcliffe (Fleabag), and Charles Babalola (Black Mirror). The series also features a talented behind-the-scenes team.
A Talented Creative Crew
Leslye Headland serves as showrunner and executive producer of The Acolyte. The series is directed by BAFTA-winning director Benjamin Caron (Sherlock) and Emmy-nominated director Chet Zar (Stranger Things).
The writing team includes Headland, Jo Reames (Loki), and Jason Young (Halt and Catch Fire). The series will premiere exclusively on the streaming service Disney+ in 2024.
