Ligue 1 side Marseille are close to sealing the deal for Roberto de Zerbi
Marseille are close to appointing Roberto de Zerbi as their new head coach. The Italian is currently in talks with the club's board and is expected to sign a three-year contract.
De Zerbi has been out of work since leaving Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of last season. He has previously managed Shakhtar Donetsk, Sassuolo and Benevento.
Marseille are looking for a new coach after Jorge Sampaoli left the club at the end of last season. The French side finished fifth in Ligue 1 last season and will be looking to challenge for the title next season.
