WEB Boeing's Starliner spacecraft arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) for the first time on Friday, May 20th, as part of the Orbital Flight Test 2 (OFT-2) mission. This monumental achievement marks a significant milestone for commercial spaceflight and highlights Boeing's progress in developing a reliable and cost-effective spacecraft to transport astronauts to and from the ISS.
Developed in collaboration with NASA's Commercial Crew Program, the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft is designed to facilitate human spaceflight operations to the ISS and support future missions to deep space destinations. The successful docking of the Starliner spacecraft with the ISS demonstrates the spacecraft's capabilities and paves the way for future crewed missions.
